I have recently introduced telephone counselling in order to accommodate clients who may live too far away to attend a face to face session in Edinburgh. There may also be other factors involved as to why this may be more suitable for some clients, for example: a client who has mobility issues.
While I would recommend face to face counselling if at all possible, I recognise that it may not always be practical to attend in person. It is with this in mind that I have begun offering telephone counselling.
Telephone counselling is generally more suitable for short term therapy and will focus very much on the here & now.
If you think that telephone counselling may be best suited to you and your needs, the first step is to contact me using the contact option available on my website and we will arrange a time to speak. The initial phone session normally lasts between 15-30 minutes. It is an opportunity for us to explore together whether this method of counselling is suitable for you & also if I'm the right "fit" for you. The initial session is free of charge, although you the client will incur the cost of the phone call. Future sessions are for 50 minutes at a cost of £60.
Payment is done through bank transfer.
This method of counselling may not be suitable for everyone and if you are greatly distressed it may be best to book a face to face session.
Contact me and we can decide what is best for you.
